Consumer Lending Early Talent Development Program

Consumer Lending Early Talent Development Program

The Early Talent Development Program (ETDP) is a two-year (24-month) program designed to help participants transition from academic life to a satisfying career at Wells Fargo. ETDP introduces participants to credit underwriting, incorporates extensive coaching to help build their analytical skills, and provides critical experience translating business needs into analysis and recommendations. As full-time team Consumer Lending associates, they gain foundational knowledge about the financial services industry and consumer lending products, the regulatory environment in which we operate, how to apply these regulations to our operating procedures, and how to properly support credit decisions. After successful completion of the development program, associates transition into key early talent positions.

Associates receive comprehensive training to foster a deeper understanding of consumer lending operations, ensure adherence to data management regulations and policies, and how to use data analytics to communicate business issues and recommend potential solutions. Additional opportunities include monthly knowledge-sharing events, professional learning and development options, and extensive online courses. Top performing associates who successfully complete the two-year program will receive support to transition into a key position in Consumer Lending.
