The Diversity Summit provides students with the opportunity to connect with one another and network with Wells Fargo leaders — all while providing an introduction to Wells Fargo's culture and the opportunities our programs provide.

Qualifications

The summit is open to all first-year MBA students including female, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American/Alaskan Native, Asian, and LGBTQIA students, as well as protected veterans and people with disabilities interested in Investment Banking who are starting their first semester in a full-time MBA program in Fall 2018.

As an attendee of this year’s 2018 Wells Fargo Securities MBA Diversity Summit, you are invited to apply to our new fellowship program for Investment Banking Associates.

The Wells Fargo Securities MBA Diversity Fellowship is designed for top diverse MBA talent interested in Investment Banking. The program is reflective of Wells Fargo's commitment to building and sustaining a diverse and inclusive culture, as outlined in our Vision and Values. The fellowship is designed to be a best-in-class program to pipeline high-potential underrepresented candidates into our Investment Banking Summer Associate Program, including female, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American/Alaskan Native and LGBTQIA students, as well as military veterans and students with disabilities. Eligible candidates will begin a full-time MBA program in the fall of 2018 and be available for a summer internship during the summer of 2019. Successful applicants will have a history of academic and/or professional achievement and a demonstrated interest in pursuing an Investment Banking career.

The fellowship offers recipients $30,000 towards their 1st year MBA program upon receiving and accepting an offer for the Wells Fargo Securities Summer Associate Investment Banking internship. Recipients of the first year fellowship award also may be eligible to receive an additional second year fellowship award in the amount of $30,000 if: they successfully complete the 2019 Summer Associate Investment Banking internship, they receive and accept a full-time offer of employment with Wells Fargo, and they meet the employment requirements and other terms and conditions of the second year fellowship award opportunity.
Note:If you currently have or later receive financial awards that cover 80% or more of your MBA program tuition, the fellowship award opportunity available to you will be reduced from $30,000 to $15,000 for the first year, and any potential second year award also will be reduced to $15,000. You must advise Wells Fargo of any other financial awards that you currently have or later receive for your MBA program.

  • Additional training and professional development sessions
  • Exclusive networking opportunities for the fellowship class

Application details

Step 1: To apply to the summit, visit MBA Securities Diversity. Please submit your application by 5:00p.m. EST on Monday, May 28, 2018.

In addition to completing the summit application, you will be asked to include your resume, and an essay including responses to the following questions: (Please limit your essay responses to no more than 300 words total)

  • Why are you interested in attending the Wells Fargo Securities MBA Diversity Summit?
  • Why are you interested in pursuing a career in investment banking?

Step 2: If interested, you also have the opportunity to apply to the Wells Fargo Securities MBA Diversity Fellowship Program. In order to be eligible for the fellowship program, you must attend the WFS MBA Diversity Summit, as interviews will be conducted onsite for the program and there will not be outside opportunities to interview.
Please note: The summit application and the WFS MBA Diversity Fellowship Program application is a one-step process. During the application process, you will be asked if you would like to apply for the Fellowship Program as well.
